ZEE5 Announces Sutliyan: ‘A story of home coming’ series

Sutliyan series will highlight entertainers Ayesha Raza, Shiv Pandit, Vivaan Shah and Plabita Borthakur.

Streaming stage ZEE5 on Tuesday presented its ensuing genuine assortment Sutliyan, to be coordinated by Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha popularity. Named as a cut of-life family dramatization, bound with well established personal disturbance, cheerful humor and kin kinship, the current will trademark entertainers Ayesha Raza, Shiv Pandit, Vivaan Shah and Plabita Borthakur.

The story is about a family where the grown-up kids return to their family home in Bhopal, the city where they grew up, weeks before Diwali.

The show is a ‘warm, fluffy’ story of a family that faces mayhem when its grown-up youngsters get back on Diwali.

“As they meet after years, attempting to find some peace with circumstances, they are troubled with psychological weight from an earlier time and unsettled struggles seeing someone as they go through the difficult, yet essential excursion of passionate and profound purging,” the authority abstract read.

The series will star Ayesha Raza Mishra, Shiv Pandit, Vivaan Shah and Plabita Borthakur.

Manish Kalra, Chief Business Officer, ZEE5 India said, the point is to make new and appealing stories from heartland India.

In the main secret of Sutliyan sees a sympathetic Ayesha, who plays Supriyaji, opening the entryway when she hears a thump. The series was declared back in November 2021.

“With Sutliyan, we plan to offer an inspiring, cut of life family show which will make you giggle, cry and rejoin with your family,” Kalra said in an explanation.

The series is being supported by Karan Raj Kohli and Viraj Kapoor’s Manor Rama Pictures.

Singh, who wanders into the OTT space with Sutliyan, said he was moved by the manner in which the feelings have been tapped in the show.

In an articulation, the producer said, “I was drawn to this series for one explanation – these days where feelings in private life are communicated through emoticons, here is a show which is genuine, and which makes you need to get the telephone and call your mother or book a ticket home.”

Makers Karan Raj Kohli and Viraj Kapur said the point through the show is to cause individuals to understand the significance of home and family.

Singh’s last film was Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018) including Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Divyenndu. The producer was among a few names endorsed on by Zee Studios in 2019.

“Set in a ‘glass-half-full’ post-Coronavirus world, Sutliyan is an account of home accompanying ‘strings’ unwinding over Diwali. With this nostalgic series, we need to remind our crowds that ‘house is the place where the heart forever is.’ If we’re ready to do that as makers, we’re home,” they said.

Sutliyan is as of now underway and will debut on ZEE5 in the not so distant future.
